The TTD value list is a vital reference for devotees who wish to make structured donations to the Tirumala Tirupati  Devasthanams  (TTD). As the managing trust of the famous Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala, TTD facilitates millions of donations every year in the form of cash, gold, silver, property, and services.

To ensure that each donation is properly acknowledged and rewarded, TTD maintains a value-based system that categorizes contributions and the benefits associated with them.

This guide will walk you through what the TTD value list is, how it works, donation categories, benefits, and how to donate—both online and offline.

What Is the TTD Value List?

The TTD value list is a structured record or system that outlines how different types of donations to TTD are categorized. It helps the temple management ensure transparency and guides donors on what privileges they will receive based on their contribution.

The list includes cash donations, donations to specific trusts, gold and jewelry offerings, and donations eligible for VIP darshan, accommodations, and lifetime recognition.

Donors contributing to TTD are not just making religious offerings—they are also supporting various welfare activities such as Annadanam (free meals), education, medical care, preservation of sacred texts, and rural temple development.

Cash Donations as Per TTD Value List

Cash donations are the most common and can be made toward general temple funds or specific trusts managed by TTD. Based on the TTD value list, here’s how cash donations are generally categorized:

  • For donations starting from ₹1,000, devotees receive an official receipt and a letter of blessings from TTD.
  • Donating ₹5,000 or more often comes with prasadam (laddus) sent to the devotee’s home along with a donor acknowledgment certificate.
  • From ₹10,000 and above, donors are eligible for VIP Break Darshan once, which allows direct access to the deity without standing in long queues. Additionally, devotees receive temple calendars, shawls, and donor ID cards.

The benefits increase as the donation amount increases. Donors who give ₹1 lakh or more are eligible for yearly VIP darshan and other privileges. At the ₹5 lakh and ₹10 lakh levels, the benefits become more exclusive, often including lifetime donor status, invitations to major temple events, priority booking, and accommodation in TTD-run guest houses.

Gold and Jewelry Donations in the TTD Value List

Apart from cash, gold and jewelry donations are also an integral part of the TTD value list. Devotees frequently donate gold coins, ornaments, and silver items either as a part of fulfilling a vow or offering gratitude to the deity.

When a devotee donates gold, it is weighed and valued based on the current market price. The TTD provides a donation receipt with the gold’s weight and estimated value. These donations are sometimes used directly in temple rituals or melted and converted to cash to support temple operations. Donors may also receive similar benefits as cash donors, depending on the gold’s value.

Srivani Trust and VIP Darshan Privileges

One of the most popular schemes in the TTD value list is the Srivani Trust, which provides VIP Break Darshan access through donations. By donating ₹10,000 to the Srivani Trust, devotees can avail themselves of a single VIP Break Darshan ticket. This facility has gained wide popularity, especially among senior citizens and devotees traveling from long distances who may not be able to stand in long lines for darshan.

The Srivani Trust itself is focused on building and maintaining temples in remote areas across India, making it a spiritually and socially impactful form of donation.

How to Donate According to the TTD Value List

TTD has simplified the donation process both online and offline.

Online Donations:

Donors can visit the official website of TTD at https://tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in. Once registered, users can log in, select a donation category or trust, and enter the desired amount as per the TTD value list. Payment can be made through UPI, debit/credit cards, or net banking.

A digital receipt is issued instantly. Donors who qualify for benefits such as VIP darshan or prasadam delivery will receive further instructions on how to redeem those privileges.

Offline Donations:

TTD has established Donor Cells and Donation Counters at Tirumala and other temple premises. Donors can visit these centers, make their offerings in cash or kind, and receive printed receipts. Gold, jewelry, or property donations are verified, weighed, and officially recorded.

Tax Benefits for Donations in the TTD Value List

All donations listed in the TTD value list are eligible for income tax exemption under Section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act. Once your donation is complete, TTD provides a tax exemption certificate either in print (offline) or through email (online). This makes the donation not only spiritually rewarding but also financially beneficial.

Donation in the Name of Family or Loved Ones

Another feature of the TTD value list is that you can donate on behalf of someone else. Whether it’s for a birthday, wedding anniversary, or in memory of a loved one, TTD allows you to enter the devotee’s name during the donation process. The blessings, receipts, and any benefits are issued in that person’s name. Many families opt for this during important life events or spiritual milestones.

How the TTD Uses Donated Funds

The money and offerings collected through the donation system are used for a variety of religious and humanitarian projects. Some of these include:

  • Free food to over 1 lakh pilgrims daily under the Annadanam Scheme.
  • Funding of free hospitals, dialysis centers, and dispensaries in Tirumala and surrounding areas.
  • Maintenance of schools and colleges for underprivileged students.
  • Veda pathashalas for the preservation of Vedic knowledge.
  • Renovation and upkeep of old and rural temples across India.
  • Goshala maintenance under the cow protection trust.

This effective use of donations is one reason why the TTD value list is trusted by millions.

Conclusion: Why the TTD Value List Matters

The TTD value list is more than just a document showing donation categories and rewards. It is a spiritual guide for donors, a system for transparency, and a roadmap for TTD’s charitable and religious operations. Whether you choose to donate a small amount or contribute large sums, the value list ensures that your devotion is recognized and your generosity is put to noble use.

With options like VIP darshan, lifetime privileges, and trust-based contributions, the TTD value list gives every devotee a way to engage meaningfully with one of India’s most sacred temples.

If you’re planning your visit to Tirumala or want to make a remote offering, understanding and using the TTD value list is the best way to make your contribution count—both spiritually and socially.
